TCXPI Afrocentric Young Scholars Saturday School Program

Beginning Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Impact Hub Oakland, The Chinue X Project, Inc. (INC) will facilitate a Free Afrocentric Saturday School Program for young scholars 5-16 yy. This program will hold as its theme people of African descent and the many contributions made to world and human civilization.

Founded by Cynthia Chinue X Cornelius, M.A.Ed. a recipient of a Bachelors in Africana Studies, and a Master's in Equity and Social Justice both from San Francisco State University. Chinue X realized the need for an alternative to the "schooling" that young scholars were receiving in the Oakland Public School District and nationwide.

This non-traditional program will bring awareness to Africa from ancient to current history and facts. Young scholars will participate in discussions as well as field trips that will hold Africa as its subject matter.

There is still time to DONATE to the SUCCESS of our program.

This program promises to be engaing to ALL involved.
